Job description

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled SAP Support Specialist with hands‑on configuration experience to support and enhance our SAP S4 HANA system in a manufacturing environment. This role will involve providing day‑to‑day support for SAP users, troubleshooting functional issues, and performing basic to intermediate configuration in modules such as MM, SD, PP, PS and PM.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, SAP integration points, and experience working closely with both IT teams and end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for SAP modules, including troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of user‑reported issues.
• Perform hands‑on configuration and minor enhancements in SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP, PM and PS).
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and recommend solutions.
• Document functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, or reports.
• Participate in system testing, change management, and deployment of SAP patches or upgrades.
• Work on process‑improvement initiatives and optimize SAP system functionality in alignment with business goals.
• Liaise with external consultants or SAP Basis teams for system issues or enhancements beyond internal scope.
• Conduct user training and develop training materials as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of SAP experience, including at least 1–2 years in hands‑on configuration.
• Strong functional knowledge in at least one SAP module (MM, SD, PP, PM and PS).
• Understanding of manufacturing business processes (e.g., production orders, goods movement, procurement and sales cycles).
• Basic understanding of SAP integration across modules.
• Experience working with end users and translating business needs into SAP solutions.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps and modern UI features.
• Experience with custom reports, enhancements (user exits, BADIs), or workflow triggers.
• Knowledge of transport management and change request handling.
• Prior experience in discrete or process manufacturing industry.
• Dynamic and supportive team in a manufacturing operations setting.
