Job summary

Honeybee Tech Solutions is seeking an experienced SAP ECP / EC Payroll QA Test Analyst for Happiest Minds Technologies Limited. The role focuses on end-to-end payroll testing across US payroll, integration testing, and year-end W-2 processes.

Virtual interview mode with 2 rounds and 5+ years of payroll domain experience are expected. The candidate will execute test cases, validate payroll interfaces, and manage defects using JIRA or similar tools, ensuring accurate wage types and tax

Qualifications

• SAP ECP/EC Payroll experience required.
• US Payroll knowledge mandatory.
• Strong understanding of US tax processing and wage types.

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases across SIT, Parallel, UAT and Regression phases.
• Test US Payroll scenarios including gross-to-net and taxes.
• Perform EC-to-ECP integration testing for data flows.
• Test payroll interfaces such as ACH/NACHA, GL postings, time & attendance feeds, vendor integrations.
• Support parallel runs and document variances.
• Validate W-2/W-2c year-end testing where applicable.

Mandatory Skills

SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) / EC Payroll experience
US Payroll experience is mandatory
Strong knowledge of US tax processing, wage types, BSI TaxFactory, garnishments, retro processing and year-end/W-2
2+ years of hands-on Integration Testing / SIT experience
Experience testing payroll interfaces such as ACH/NACHA, GL, Time Integration and third-party vendor feeds
Knowledge of EC-to-ECP replication
Payroll schema/PCR familiarity, wage types, payroll control record and payroll log analysis
Experience with Payroll-to-GL, Payroll-to-Bank and Time-to-Payroll integrations
Experience with Parallel Run Testing and variance analysis
Defect management using JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM/Quality Center or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

• Execute test cases and test scripts across SIT, Parallel Testing, UAT and Regression Testing.
• Test US Payroll scenarios including gross-to-net, federal/state/local taxes, garnishments, off-cycle and retro processing.
• Perform EC-to-ECP integration testing for employee master data, compensation, organization and position data.
• Test payroll interfaces including ACH/NACHA bank files, GL postings, time & attendance feeds and third-party integrations.
• Support payroll parallel runs and identify/document variances.
• Validate US Payroll tax scenarios and BSI TaxFactory results.
• Execute W-2 and W-2c year-end testing where applicable.
• Log and track defects with complete payroll-specific details.

Important Requirement

SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) / EC Payroll experience is mandatory.
