Thoucentric in Bengaluru, India invites an SAP EAM Consultant to implement and support SAP Enterprise Asset Management solutions, optimizing asset lifecycles and maintenance planning for enterprise clients. The role requires hands-on SAP EAM/PM experience, strong stakeholder communication, and collaboration with functional and ABAP teams to deliver compliant, scalable maintenance solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance across projects.
• Proven end-to-end SAP EAM implementation with lifecycle coverage.
• Strong ability to gather, analyze requirements and map to SAP solutions.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience coordinating with ABAP teams for enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP EAM implementations and rollouts across asset-intensive industries.
• Gather and analyze asset master data and maintenance requirements.
• Configure SAP EAM components: technical objects, maintenance plans, task lists, notifications, work orders.
• Support end-to-end maintenance processes from notification to settlement.
• Collaborate with MM, FI, PM, PS for cost tracking and asset capitalization.
• Prepare functional specs and coordinate with ABAP for enhancements.
• Support UAT, cutover, go-live and hypercare activities.
• Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations.

Role & responsibilities :

The SAP EAM Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Enterprise Asset Management solutions to enable effective maintenance planning, asset lifecycle management, and operational reliability for enterprise clients. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable and compliant asset management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP EAM implementations and rollouts across maintenance and asset-intensive industries
• Gather and analyze business requirements related to:
  • Asset Master Data
  • Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
  • Breakdown Maintenance
  • Refurbishment & Shutdown Management
• Configure SAP EAM components including:
  • Technical Objects (Equipment, Functional Locations)
  • Maintenance Plans & Task Lists
  • Notifications & Work Orders
  • Measuring Points & Counters
• Support end-to-end maintenance processes from notification to order settlement
• Work closely with MM, FI, PM, and PS modules for:
  • Spare parts management
  • Cost tracking and settlement
  • Capitalization and depreciation of assets
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP teams for enhancements
• Support UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities
• Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations

Requirements:

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Plant Maintenance (PM).
• Proven track record of delivering at least one end-to-end SAP EAM implementation project, covering the full project lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of maintenance and asset management business processes, with the ability to align solutions to business needs.
• Skilled in engaging with business stakeholders, gathering and analyzing requirements, translating them into effective SAP solutions, and supporting end-user training and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Experience in writing functional specifications and supporting testing cycles
