Job description

We are seeking a skilled SAP EAM Functional Consultant with 6–9 years of experience in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP EAM solutions in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to optimize maintenance processes, ensure asset reliability, and support digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP EAM functional solutions.
• Configure and support SAP EAM components, including:
  • Functional Locations
  • Equipment Master
  • Maintenance Notifications
  • Maintenance Orders
  • Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
  • Maintenance Plans and Task Lists
  • Work Centers
  • Measuring Points & Counters
  • Bills of Materials (BOM)
  • Lead workshops, Fit‑Gap analysis, and solution design sessions with business users.
  • Prepare Functional Specifications (FS), process documents, and configuration documentation.
• Coordinate with ABAP, Basis, Integration, and technical teams for enhancements and custom developments.
• Perform system configuration, testing (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT), defect resolution, and production support.
• Support data migration, master data validation, and cutover activities.
• Ensure integration with SAP MM, PP, QM, FI/CO, PS, and EWM where applicable.
• Provide knowledge transfer, user training, and post‑go‑live support.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide functional guidance during project execution.
• Participate in implementation, rollout, upgrade, and AMS/support engagements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend SAP best practices.

Required Skills

• 6–9 years of hands‑on experience in SAP EAM.
• Strong knowledge of asset management and maintenance business processes.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA EAM implementations or migrations.
• Expertise in Equipment & Functional Location Management, Maintenance Processing, Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown and Corrective Maintenance, Refurbishment Process, Calibration Management (preferred), Maintenance Planning & Scheduling.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications for EAM.
• Strong understanding of integration with SAP MM, PP, QM, FI/CO, and PS.
• Experience in at least 2–3 end‑to‑end SAP implementation projects and support/rollout engagements.
• Ability to prepare Functional Specifications and work with technical teams on developments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
