W. L. Gore & Associates in Bengaluru, India, seeks an experienced SAP Configuration Specialist – PTM/QM to design, implement, and optimize SAP PP/QM within our Global Capability Center.

You will coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics and Technology to boost inventory visibility and warehouse efficiency. The role requires hands‑on PP/QM expertise, strong MM/IM knowledge, and proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end SAP configurations and integration.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands‑on SAP experience in PP/QM within SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Strong knowledge of PP/QM processes including SFC, shopfloor control.
• Familiarity with MM/IM integration and warehouse processes.
• Experience configuring SAP, gathering requirements and supporting interfaces.
• Experience in implementation, rollout, enhancement, or support projects.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze warehouse, inventory, and logistics requirements; translate to SAP PTM/QM specs and configuration.
• Configure and support core SAP PP/QM processes including master data and quality planning/inspection.
• Support SAP EWM MM integration including goods receipts, stock transfers, and inventory synchronization.
• Analyze warehouse processes to improve accuracy, productivity, and fulfillment using standard SAP functionality.
• Collaborate with ABAP, integration, and technical teams on interfaces and reports.
• Prepare test scenarios; execute unit, integration, regression, and UAT tests.
• Provide production support, root‑cause analysis, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
• Maintain documentation and deliver knowledge transfer to users.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Configuration Specialist – PTM/QM to join our Global Capability Center in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA warehouse, inventory, logistics, and fulfillment solutions. You will work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics and Technology teams to deliver effective solutions that improve inventory visibility, warehouse efficiency, fulfillment, and operational performance. The successful candidate will have hands‑on experience in SAP PP/QM, with good working knowledge of SAP MM, Inventory Management (IM), and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Work with business and functional teams to understand warehouse, inventory, and logistics requirements, document business processes, and translate requirements into SAP PTM/QM functional specifications and configuration needs.
• SAP PP/QM Configuration: Configure and support core SAP PP/QM processes including PP/QM related master data, SFC, Quality planning, Quality Inspection etc.
• SAP MM/IM/EWM Integration: Support integration between SAP EWM and MM/Inventory Management, including goods receipts, goods issues, stock transfers, transfer postings, stock types, and inventory synchronization.
• PP/QM Process Support & Optimization: Analyze existing warehouse processes and identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, fulfillment, and operational efficiency using standard SAP functionality.
• Functional & Technical Collaboration: Work with ABAP, integration, and technical teams on functional specifications for interfaces, reports, enhancements, forms, workflows, and integrations with SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Testing & Deployment Support: Prepare test scenarios and execute unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing. Support defect resolution, deployment activities, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Production Support & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve functional issues across PP/QM processes, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely support for warehouse and logistics operations.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain functional and configuration documentation, process flows, test scripts, and user guides, and provide knowledge transfer and training to business users and support teams.

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of SAP experience, with hands‑on experience in SAP Production Planning and Quality Management processes, preferably in SAP S/4 HANA environments.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP PP/QM, including SFC, shopfloor control etc.
• Good working knowledge of SAP MM and Inventory Management (IM), including goods receipts, goods issues, transfer postings, stock movements, and integration with warehouse processes.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP configuration, with the ability to understand business requirements, perform configuration, and support functional changes within PP/QM and related logistics processes.
• Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or support projects, covering requirement gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate functional issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and work with technical teams to resolve PP/QM related problems.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, functional teams, developers, integration teams, and other stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience working with Production Planning and Quality Management, preferably in a global or multi‑site environment.
• Experience working in an international multi‑cultural environment considered a plus.
