Job summary

AceNet Consulting is seeking a skilled SAP CAP Developer (Node.js/Java) to design and build cloud-native applications on SAP BTP. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SAP CAP, Node.js or Java, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Fiori/UI5 integration.

You will collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and UI developers, develop OData services, and ensure robust data models and secure integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 4+ years of software development with at least 2+ years in SAP CAP development.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js or Java.
• Experience building cloud-native apps on SAP BTP.
• Good understanding of CDS modeling, OData, and SAP HANA Cloud.
• Experience integrating CAP apps with SAP S/4HANA and external systems.
• Knowledge of OAuth/XSUAA authentication concepts.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Node.js or Java, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Fiori/UI5 integration to build scalable and secure enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Model.
• Build cloud-native applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Develop backend services using Node.js or Java.
• Create and expose OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Integrate CAP applications with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP/non-SAP systems.
• Develop and optimize data models using SAP HANA Cloud.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and UI developers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to development standards.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of software development experience with at least 2+ years in SAP CAP development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js or Java programming.

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts (OAuth, XSUAA).
