Job summary

Nexara Cloud Labs is seeking a skilled SAP CAP Developer to join our dynamic team in India. You will build full‑stack SAP CAP applications on SAP BTP, using CDS, Fiori/UI5, RESTful APIs and OData to deliver scalable business solutions.

You will collaborate with UI/UX teams to craft user‑friendly frontends, integrate with SAP S/4HANA and third‑party services, perform code reviews and unit tests, and maintain secure, well‑documented code in Git.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, OData, and RESTful APIs.
• Deep experience with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.
• Proficient in SAP CAP development.
• Experience with SAP Event Mesh, SAP Launchpad, and ABSL.
• Proficient in JavaScript/Node.js (or Java) and SAP CDS.
• DevOps, CI/CD, and Git experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a skilled SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing full-stack applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using CAP, Node.js or Java, and SAP Fiori/UI5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP CAP on SAP BTP.
• Build data models, service layers, and integration layers using CDS (Core Data Services).
• Develop RESTful services and OData APIs using CAP and expose them for consumption.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to build Fiori/UI5-based frontends.
• Integrate with SAP S/4HANA, third-party systems, and SAP services (like Workflow, Business Rules, Destinations, etc.).
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure application scalability and security.
• Write technical documentation and maintain source code in version control systems (e.g., Git).

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, OData, and RESTful APIs.
• Extensive Experience with SAP BTP services, especially Cloud Foundry environment.
• Extensive Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming.
• Extensive experience with SAP Event Mesh, Business Application Studio, and SAP Launchpad.
• Extensive experience with SAP development (ABSL).
• Extensive experience in JavaScript/Node.js (or Java) and experience with SAP CDS.
• Experience with DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git repositories.
• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP HANA or HANA Cloud.
• Experience with SAP ABAP
• Certification in SAP BTP or CAP development.
