Job summary

Terrabit Consulting is seeking an SAP BTP CAP developer to act as a full stack cloud developer for building scalable, enterprise grade applications and extensions integrated with SAP systems such as S/4 HANA.

You will design CAP services on SAP BTP, develop event publishers and consumers with Node.js, and collaborate with architecture, BRIM, and DevOps teams to deliver microservices based on event-driven patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience in Node.js development on SAP BTP
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with Event Driven Architecture and CQRS patterns
• CAP framework usage to minimize boilerplate and implement business logic

Responsibilities

• Design and build CAP services on SAP BTP for SAP BDO implementation
• Develop and maintain event publishers and consumers (Node.js, SAP Build Code)
• Integrate with SAP BTP services such as HANA Cloud and Integration Suite
• Collaborate with architecture, BRIM functional teams, and DevOps teams
• Demonstrate expertise in microservices architecture (Node.js)
• Provide consultation on EDA concepts such as CQRS and Postbox Pattern

Role & responsibilities

As SAP BTP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) developer you are a full stack cloud developer for building scalable, enterprise grade applications and side by side extensions integrated with SAP systems (i.e, S/4 HANA).

• Design and build CAP Services on SAP BTP in context of SAP BDO implementation.
• Develop and maintain event publishers and consumers (Node.js, SAP Build Code).
• Integrate with additional services on SAP BTP, particularly HANA Cloud.
• Collaborate closely with architecture teams, BRIM functional teams, and DevOps teams.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture (Node.js).
• Experience in Node.js development on SAP BTP and with additional BTP services such as HANA Cloud and Integration Suite.
• Good experience with Event Driven Architecture and event integration patterns.
• Programming Languages: Deep expertise in Node.js or Java.
• CAP Framework: Utilizing CAP libraries to minimize boilerplate code and implement business logic efficiently.
• Provide consultation/opinions on EDA concepts such as CQRS, Eventual Consistency, Postbox Pattern, etc.
