Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru seeks a senior SAP backend developer with 10+ years in SAP development and at least 5 years in SAP CAP. You will design, build, and optimize secure cloud apps on SAP BTP, using CDS, OData, and Fiori/UI5. You will collaborate on architecture, enforce best practices, and mentor teams while communicating effectively in English.

German is a plus. Strong problem-solving and data modeling skills are expected; a CS/IT degree is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in SAP development, with at least 5 years in SAP CAP.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js or Java, with proven backend development for SAP BTP.
• Solid expertise in CDS, OData, SAP Fiori/UI5, Fiori Elements, and Business Application Studio.
• Strong foundation in modern software architectures, ABAP Objects, and cloud technologies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus).
