Job summary

FBS - Farmer Business Services seeks an SAP Data Analyst to bridge raw data and business operations, extracting and interpreting data in SAP environments to optimize performance and support executive decisions.

Role focuses on data design, validation, and reporting, with exposure to SAP HANA/S4HANA, BW, and cloud platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure. Collaborative, global context with Capgemini as EOR.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud.
• Strong SQL and Python skills are required.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and BTP services is expected.
• Familiarity with integrating cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud – Reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level of expertise in the design and functionality of business applications.
• Understands business objectives and how IT can support them.
• Responsible for conceptual design of business applications.
• Reviews and validates technical design for business applications provided by the supplier.
• Performs quality review checks on project deliverables.
• Validates suppliers estimates.
• Performs impact analysis of application changes across components.
• Reviews and validates detailed technical design to align with requirements.
• Supports implementation activities, troubleshooting environment issues, and training as required.
• Queries SAP modules (SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA) to pull and compile datasets.
• Maintains and audits system master data across enterprise systems.
• Transforms SAP metrics into visual insights using Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Investigates data quality issues and fixes to prevent disruptions.

• Investigate system anomalies, data drift, and data quality issues, implementing fixes to prevent operational disruptions

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud)
• Proficiency in SQL, with additional knowledge of Python and ELT frameworks
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and Business Technology Platform (BTP) services
• Familiarity with integrating cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure).
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud - Reporting
