Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India invites an experienced SAP Datasphere Consultant to join our Mumbai team. You will design and implement data models, flows, and integration solutions across SAP Datasphere, SAC, and related SAP systems for scalable analytics.

The role requires hands-on expertise in SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics, data modeling, integration, and reporting. You will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Datasphere / SAP Data Warehouse Cloud.
• Experience in data modeling, space management, data flows, replication flows, and semantic modeling in SAP Datasphere.
• Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4HANA data structures.
• Experience integrating SAP Datasphere with SAC and reporting tools.
• Understanding of data warehousing, data integration, and reporting architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data models, views, and data flows in SAP Datasphere.
• Build and maintain data integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP sources.
• Work on data extraction, transformation, replication, and harmonization within SAP Datasphere.

Role & responsibilities

Datasphere resource with 3-5 years exp from Mumbai location

We are looking for an experienced SAP Datasphere Consultant to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics, data modeling, integration, and reporting solutions. The role requires working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to design, build, and support scalable data and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data models, views, and data flows in SAP Datasphere.
• Build and maintain data integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP source systems.
• Work on data extraction, transformation, replication, and harmonization within SAP Datasphere.
• Integrate SAP Datasphere with systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and third-party applications.
• Develop and optimize analytical datasets, semantic models, and reporting structures for business intelligence and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support data governance, data quality, and security requirements within the SAP analytics landscape.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of data models, queries, and reporting solutions.
• Participate in end-to-end implementation, migration, enhancement, and support projects related to SAP Datasphere.
• Work with cross-functional teams for testing, deployment, documentation, and user training.
• Troubleshoot issues, provide root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution of incidents and change requests.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP Datasphere capabilities, SAP data strategy, and analytics innovations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Datasphere / SAP Data Warehouse Cloud.
• Experience in data modeling, space management, data flows, replication flows, and semantic modeling in SAP Datasphere.
• Good knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4HANA data structures.
• Experience in integrating SAP Datasphere with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other reporting tools.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing, data integration, and reporting architecture.
• Experience working with SQL, views, transformations, and data provisioning concepts.
• Knowledge of analytical reporting, dashboarding, and KPI reporting.
• Familiarity with data security, roles, authorizations, and governance in SAP environments.
• Ability to work on requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, and support.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred / Good to Have Skills

• Experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reporting and dashboard development.
• Exposure to SAP BW migration to SAP Datasphere.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
• Experience with non-SAP data source integrations.
• Understanding of cloud-based analytics and enterprise data warehousing concepts.
• SAP certification in SAP Datasphere / SAP BW / SAP Analytics would be an added advantage.
