Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP HCM Consultant to design and implement SAP HCM solutions using ABAP. You will customize PA, OM, TM and Payroll to meet business needs in India.

Collaborate with functional teams and end users to gather requirements, develop and test ABAP code, and ensure robust, scalable solutions. Proficiency with Eclipse, SAP GUI, and debugging tools is essential to deliver high quality results.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP HCM development.
• Strong ABAP programming for HCM modules including PA, OM, TM and Payroll.
• Experience with SAP development tools (Eclipse, SAP GUI) and debugging.

Responsibilities

• ABAP development: writing, testing, and debugging ABAP code for SAP HCM modules.
• Designing and implementing SAP HCM solutions, including custom development and configuration.
• Conducting unit and integration testing and supporting UAT.
• Troubleshooting and providing technical support for SAP HCM applications.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation for SAP HCM solutions.
• Collaborating with functional consultants, analysts, and project managers.

SAP ABAP HCM Consultant responsible for developing and implementing SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions using ABAP programming.

This role involves customizing SAP HCM modules, such as Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), and Payroll, to meet specific business needs.

They work with functional consultants and end users to gather requirements, design solutions, develop and test custom code.

Experience : 6 plus years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• ABAP Development: Writing, testing, and debugging ABAP code for SAP HCM modules, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Solution Design and Implementation: Designing and implementing SAP HCM solutions, including custom development and configuration.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conducting unit testing, integration testing, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality of developed solutions.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Providing technical support and troubleshooting for SAP HCM applications, resolving issues and optimizing performance.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation for SAP HCM solutions.
• Collaboration: Working with functional consultants, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Skills Required

• SAP ABAP Programming: Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language, including experience with SAP HCM specific development objects.
• SAP HCM Modules: In depth knowledge of SAP HCM modules like Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), and Payroll.
• Technical Skills: Experience with SAP development tools, such as Eclipse, SAP GUI, and debugging tools.
