Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant

Experience: 5+ Yrs

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with WebDynpro expertise to support implementation projects, focusing on custom ABAP development and MDG integration. The role requires proficiency in ABAP, WebDynpro, Floor Plan Manager (FPM), and integration with Master Data Governance (MDG).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom solutions using ABAP Object-Oriented Programming, WebDynpro, FPM, and ABAP Workflow.
• Customize and enhance MDG UIs, FPM UI, and WebDynpro components.
• Support the migration of master data into SAP MDG, using DRF, SOA services, ALE, and data import tools.
• Configure MDG process models, including Business Activities, Change Request Types, and workflows (BRF+).
• Implement data validations, derivations using BADIs, and integrate MDG with SAP Information Steward and SAP Data Services.
• Develop custom objects based on client requirements and assist with data migration for objects like Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance.
• Support UAT and go-live phases of MDG implementations.
• Provide clear status reports and maintain effective communication with project teams.
• Work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment to meet project goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ABAP development, including Object-Oriented Programming and WebDynpro.
• Hands‑on experience with ABAP Floor Plan Manager (FPM) and Workflow.
• Familiarity with MDG data migration, integration, and configuration.
• Experience with master data objects (Material, Customer, Vendor, Finance) and MDG processes.
• Knowledge of BOL (Business Object Layer) and Genil programming.
• Proficiency in data migration techniques, including SOA services and ALE configuration.
• Experience in supporting UAT and go-live phases.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Information Steward and SAP Data Services for data remediation and validation.
• Familiarity with MDG custom object development.
