Job summary

Ciel HR is seeking an experienced Storage SAN Administrator to manage and optimize an enterprise storage infrastructure. The role requires hands-on SAN experience, backup integration, and strong troubleshooting across Windows, Linux and VMware environments.

You'll work with major storage platforms and backup tools to ensure data protection, performance, and reliability. The position involves on-call support and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a large-scale environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAN technologies and backups.
• Proficient in performance tuning and issue resolution in enterprise storage.
• Ability to coordinate with server, virtualization and application teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure and support SAN and storage infrastructure
• Manage storage arrays, LUN provisioning, zoning, masking and capacity planning
• Monitor storage performance, availability and health
• Perform migrations, upgrades and disaster recovery activities
• Work with backup/recovery solutions to ensure data protection
• Troubleshoot storage incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Coordinate with server virtualization, database and app teams
• Implement storage security and compliance standards
• Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
• Participate in on-call support and incident management

Job Summary

• Familiarity with Windows Linux and VMware environments

Preferred Skills

• Automation Scripting using PowerShell Python or Shell scripting
