Job summary

C Edge in Thane is seeking an experienced SAN Storage Administrator to manage enterprise storage infrastructure across multi-vendor environments. You will ensure high availability, performance, security, and DR readiness while coordinating with server, database, virtualization, and network teams.

Responsibilities include design/administration of SAN, capacity planning, firmware management, and ITIL-aligned maintenance. 24x7 support may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Fibre Channel, iSCSI, SAN fabrics, zoning, masking, and LUN management.
• Experience with multi-vendor storage platforms (Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE).
• Knowledge of replication technologies (SRDF, SnapMirror, SyncIQ, TrueCopy, VPLEX).
• Proficient with Brocade SAN switches and firmware management.
• ITIL-aligned, with Windows/Linux/AIX storage integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and administer SAN environments including storage arrays, fabrics, switches, and host connectivity.
• Monitor storage infrastructure health, capacity, and performance; analyze trends and optimize.
• Execute firmware upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of storage arrays and SAN switches.
• Implement and support storage replication and DR environments; coordinate DR drills.
• Collaborate with OEMs and cross-functional teams for escalations and upgrades.
• Maintain SOPs, architecture diagrams, audit records, and ITIL-compliant docs.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAN Storage Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise storage infrastructure. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, security, and disaster recovery readiness across multi-vendor storage platforms.

Key Responsibilities

SAN Infrastructure Management

• Design, implement, and administer SAN environments including storage arrays, fabrics, switches, and host connectivity.
• Perform zoning, masking, provisioning, and LUN/volume allocation across enterprise environments.

Storage Operations & Performance

• Monitor storage infrastructure health, capacity, and performance.
• Analyze utilization trends, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements.
• Manage storage capacity planning, forecasting, and expansion activities.

Patch, Upgrade & Maintenance

• Execute firmware upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of storage arrays and SAN switches.
• Ensure compliance with change management processes and maintenance schedules.

Replication & Disaster Recovery

• Implement and support storage replication solutions and DR environments.
• Coordinate DR drills, failover/failback testing, and business continuity activities.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Work with OEMs for troubleshooting, escalations, upgrades, and support.
• Collaborate closely with server, database, virtualization, and network teams.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain SOPs, architecture diagrams, audit records, and operational documentation.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, security standards, and compliance requirements.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Fibre Channel, iSCSI, SAN Fabrics, Zoning, Masking, and LUN Management
• Hands-on experience with storage platforms such as:
