Job summary

CTA Apparels in Noida seeks an experienced Sampling Manager to lead the sample development team, ensuring timely, accurate prototypes that meet buyer specs and quality norms.

You will collaborate with merchandising, design, and pattern teams, plan timelines, supervise the sampling workflow, and maintain records, costing sheets, and approvals to optimise production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Technology, Garment Manufacturing, or related field.
• Proven experience in apparel sampling with 2-3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and fabric behavior.
• Experience handling export buyers and tech packs.
• Excellent team management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end sample development: proto, fit, PP, and SMS samples.
• Coordinate with merchandising, design, and pattern teams to interpret tech packs.
• Plan and manage sampling timelines to meet buyer deadlines.
• Ensure fabric, trims, and construction match buyer specifications.
• Monitor sample quality and conduct fit approvals before dispatch.
• Liaise with buyers/clients on sample feedback and revisions.
• Manage sampling team, machine allocation, and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain sample records, costing sheets, and approval documentation.
• Identify and resolve production/sampling bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CAD software is a plus.
