Qualifications

• 10–14 years of IT experience with 5–8 years in Salesforce hands-on development.
• Hands-on Salesforce development experience including Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps processes.
• Exposure to Salesforce data cloud platforms like Data Cloud and Agentforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to solution design, code reviews, and complex development (Apex, LWC).
• Troubleshoot critical production issues and provide quick resolutions.
• Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and execution tracking for enterprise Salesforce projects.
• Design scalable Salesforce solutions with attention to data model, security, and performance.
• Mentor developers through pair programming, code walkthroughs, and design guidance.

Job description

We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce Engineering Manager / Tech Delivery Manager with strong Salesforce expertise who can code when needed, lead delivery, and manage enterprise client expectations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a player-coach model—driving architecture and delivery while actively contributing to solution design, troubleshooting, and critical development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hands-on Technical Leadership

• Actively contribute to solution design, code reviews, and complex development (Apex, LWC)
• Troubleshoot critical production issues and provide quick resolutions
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and best practices

2. Delivery Ownership (End-to-End)

• Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and execution tracking
• Manage day-to-day delivery for enterprise Salesforce projects
• Ensure predictable delivery with high quality and minimal defect leakage

3. Client Interaction & Execution

• Work closely with enterprise customers on requirements, demos, and solution walkthroughs
• Translate business requirements into technical tasks and actionable user stories
• Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and handle escalations

4. Solutioning & Architecture (Practical)

• Design scalable solutions across:
• Exposure to CPQ, FSL, Data Cloud preferred
• Ensure optimal data model, security, and performance design

5. Agile Delivery & Governance

• Run Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives)
• Track KPIs like velocity, burndown, and defect metrics
• Mentor developers through pair programming, code walkthroughs, and design guidance
• Support onboarding and upskilling of team members
• Act as the first level of technical escalation within the team

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–14 years of IT experience with 5–8 years in Salesforce hands-on development
• Strong expertise in:
• Integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs)
• Solid experience with:
• Exposure to Agentforce, Data Cloud is a plus
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills
• Experience in CI/CD tools, Git, DevOps processes
