Job summary

Charter Global is seeking an experienced Salesforce Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of critical client-to-agent platforms, with a focus on Salesforce Service Cloud. The role involves hands-on Salesforce testing, API testing, defect management, and test automation in an Agile environment, collaborating with Developers, BAs, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Salesforce application testing, with strong expertise in Service Cloud.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, data model, configurations, and customizations.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools, preferably Jira.
• Strong experience in API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, UAT, and Performance Testing.
• Test Service Cloud features including Case Management, Knowledge, Live Agent, CTI, and Communities.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects using Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and validate defect fixes.
• Contribute to test automation using Salesforce-specific tools such as Copado Robotic Testing.
• Perform API testing using Postman and SoapUI.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Review technical designs and provide recommendations to improve testability and overall product quality.
