Job description

Years of Experience:

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Experience 5+ Years
• Overall Salesforce Experience 8+ years

Preferred Certifications:

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Journey Builder (SFMC)
• o Leverage expertise in SFMC to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns in email, SMS, social media, Push Notifications and more.
• o Develop customer segmentation strategies to target marketing efforts to specific populations.
• o Work with Marketing teams closely to translate the goals of marketing initiatives into strategic campaigns, providing technical guidance, and ensuring smooth execution.

Additional Expertise

• o Meet business requirements in terms of integrations to other systems, such as unique channel API integrations.
• o Translate complex technical concepts into necessary implementation detail and vice versa, translate those concepts to stakeholders in a digestible way.
• o Serve as senior level developer for Salesforce.com
• o Develop high quality, scalable customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, requirements and company goals
• o Contribute to the entire development cycle (analysis, design, code, test, initial pilot/production launch, deploy and production support)
• o Should be able to work in a multi-vendor environment and able to adapt to the changing needs
• o Remains current on new Salesforce features and functionality and provides recommendations for process improvements

Competencies:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent level of industry experience in a technical role, developing deep expertise in Salesforce technologies.
• Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, segmentation within Salesforce, and marketing automation strategies.
• Proficiency in configuration and customizations within the Salesforce platforms
• Experience with data analysis and A/B testing, including interpretation of metrics.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce platform, features and governor limits
• Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and design patterns
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and designs
• Experience working with VisualForce pages, Lightning, Apex programming
• Experience working with integrating 3rd party systems with Salesforce and various web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Javascript, JS frameworks like Angular, Bootstrap) preferred
• Experience using SOAP, REST and other communication protocols and mechanisms
