Job summary

Jobtailor in India seeks an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ. You will implement custom objects, automation, integrations, and security models, driving deployments and test cycles.

The role requires 6–8 years of hands-on Salesforce development, strong collaboration skills, and knowledge of CI/CD practices with Copado or Jenkins. Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

6 to 8 years of Salesforce development experience.
Strong understanding of Salesforce development standards, security, release management, and deployment practices.
Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable Salesforce solutions.
Knowledge of Salesforce governor limits, coding best practices, data mapping, integration mechanics, and release processes.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Copado or Jenkins and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience supporting enterprise Salesforce environments and resolving production issues.
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, or Salesforce Certified Architect preferred.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ
Prepare test data, perform unit testing, support QA and user acceptance testing, troubleshoot defects, and ensure successful deployments
Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements and translate them into maintainable Salesforce solutions
Configure and enhance Salesforce applications, including custom objects, page layouts, reports, dashboards, list views, approval processes, workflow automation, email templates, and security models
Ensure platform performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
Build, optimize, and support Salesforce CPQ capabilities, including product configuration, pricing models, bundles, discount schedules, quoting workflows, approval chains, subscription management, and renewals
Contribute to release planning, deployment activities, Agile/Scrum delivery, and technical and solution documentation
Develop, maintain, and optimize integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as HubSpot, ERP platforms, and third-party applications using APIs, SOQL, SOSL, and integration frameworks
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, process simplification, and platform enhancements
Support Salesforce migration and platform transformation initiatives across pricing, quoting, contract-to-cash, invoicing, and reporting
Drive automation across sales and revenue operations through Flow-based solutions and process optimization
Establish Salesforce development standards, coding best practices, governance frameworks, and architectural principles
Participate in code reviews, solution reviews, and design discussions
Build internal Salesforce engineering expertise through documentation, knowledge transfer, and capability development
Collaborate with business stakeholders, administrators, architects, and external partners
Evaluate and adopt emerging Salesforce technologies, including Salesforce AI and Agentforce

Requirements

6 to 8 years of Salesforce development experience
