Job summary

SPAN India is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join the Sales Operations team in Bengaluru. You will build, manage and scale infrastructure to support all channels of the SPAN commercial team, delivering robust CRM solutions.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, translate requirements into technical specs, and implement new Salesforce functionality across workflows, fields, and automation while ensuring high performance and data quality.

Qualifications

• Experience as Salesforce Developer, Business Systems Analyst, or similar in Salesforce ecosystem (8–10 years).
• 2–4 years Salesforce CRM in fast-moving B2B/channel sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Support CRM-related operations and finance needs; coordinate processes with operations analyst and specialists.
• Translate priorities into documented requirements and scalable solutions.
• Develop new functionality as SPAN expands into new channels and launches products.
• Create and manage Salesforce fields, objects, layouts, triggers, permissions, and workflows.
• Ensure optimal Salesforce performance; manage roles, sharing rules, workflows, and integrated apps.

The Role

We are looking for a talented Salesforce Developer to add to the Sales Operations org at SPAN. In this role you will build, manage and scale out infrastructure to support all channels of the SPAN commercial team.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally to support Operations and Finance needs that impact the CRM; coordinate sales and operations processes with our operations analyst and specialists
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate and define priorities into requirements and create documented scalable solutions
• Develop new functionality as SPAN expands into new channels and launches new products
• Create and manage custom fields, objects, layouts, list views, triggers, user permissions, and workflows.
• Ensure optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products, upgrading and configuring where necessary. Manage roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, groups and integrated apps and software

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years experience as a Salesforce Development, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role within the Salesforce ecosystem
• 2-4 years of experience working with Salesforce CRM in a fast-moving, growth-oriented B2B and/or Channel Sales Model environment
• Experience interacting with business stakeholders and translating business requirements to technical requirements
• Experience with Flows, documenting technical changes, UAT, and end-user training
• Certified Salesforce Administrator and/or Salesforce advanced administrator certification
• Experience troubleshooting automation and data quality issues
• Experience with Requirements Gathering across a diverse set of business stakeholders
• Driven, positive attitude, and get-it-done mentality
• High attention to detail is required for this role

• Experience with Salesforce CPQ
• Experience with Account Engagement Pardot
• Experience with release management across multiple sandbox environments (DevOps)
• Platform Developer or App Builder Certification
• Experience with Tableau
