As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you willfocus on managing and maintaining high-quality system documentation forSalesforce and related enterprise application processes. You’ll partner closelywith business stakeholders, Salesforce administrators, developers, QAresources, and project teams to keep requirements, user stories, acceptancecriteria, process flows, decisions, meeting notes, and support documentationorganized, current, and easy to use. This role will be especially responsiblefor maintaining documentation and work item clarity in Azure DevOps andsupporting team communication and knowledge sharing through Microsoft Teams.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, comfortable workingin a remote environment, and able to turn business and technical discussionsinto clear, actionable documentation.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain system documentation forSalesforce and related enterprise application processes, ensuring materialsremain accurate, organized, and easy to access.
- Create, update, and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, functional requirements, and documentationlinks in Azure DevOps.
- Partner with Salesforce administrators,developers, QA analysts, and solution owners to ensure requirements areunderstood and delivered accurately.
- Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholdersto clarify scope, business process impacts, dependencies, and expectedoutcomes.
- Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, testing readiness, and release preparation by ensuring Azure DevOps work itemsare complete, clear, and aligned to current documentation.
- Use Microsoft Teams to organize projectcommunication, capture decisions, share documentation updates, and helpmaintain team visibility across open items, risks, and next steps.
- Assist with user acceptance testing by definingtest scenarios, validating delivered functionality, and documenting issues orgaps.
- Analyze Salesforce data, workflows, objects,fields, and business processes to identify improvement opportunities and reducerework.
- Maintain documentation libraries for system processes,requirements, user guides, FAQs, change impacts, meeting notes, and keydecisions.
- Communicate documentation status, openrequirements, risks, blockers, and changes clearly across U.S. and India-basedteams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of business analysisexperience, preferably supporting Salesforce or enterprise application teams.
- Experience writing, organizing, and maintainingbusiness requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, meeting notes,process documentation, and system support materials.
- Experience working with distributed or remoteteams, including collaboration with U.S.based stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce corefunctionality, including objects, fields, page layouts, reports, dashboards, workflows, and security concepts.
- Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud,Revenue Cloud, CPQ, or Salesforce support processes preferred.
- Ability to create and maintain process flows,functional requirements, data mapping notes, testing scenarios, user guides,and knowledge documentation.
- Strong experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, orsimilar tools for backlog management, requirement tracking, work item updates,and documentation traceability.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for projectcollaboration, documentation sharing, meeting follow-ups, and communicationwith distributed teams.
- Experience supporting project intake, approvalworkflows, business case documentation, stakeholder review cycles, orgovernance processes preferred.
- Strong written and verbal English communicationskills for working with global business and technology teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, anddocumentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, clarify ambiguity, andfollow through on open requirements or action items.
- Comfortableworking independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong teamcollaboration.
