Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to lead structured discovery workshops, capture functional and nonfunctional requirements, and translate them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Automotive Cloud, and Agentforce.

You will maintain a requirements traceability matrix, identify gaps, and collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to ensure end-to-end delivery and measurable business value through

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops to capture business requirements (functional & nonfunctional).
• Translate requirements across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Automotive Cloud, and Agentforce into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain a requirements traceability matrix for end-to-end delivery alignment.
• Identify gaps or constraints and resolve with Solution Architects and Tech Leads.
• Document As-Is and To-Be processes aligned with Salesforce capabilities.
• Identify automation opportunities and recommend Salesforce-native solutions.
• Facilitate process improvements to ensure Salesforce delivers measurable value.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Automotive Cloud.
• Support configuration tasks: page layouts, validation rules, and picklists.
• Collaborate with technical teams to convey functional intent behind customisations.
• Maintain awareness of Agentforce and AI-powered Salesforce features.
• Serve as liaison between stakeholders and the delivery team.
• Prepare and deliver sprint demos, status reports, and validation updates.
• Maintain documentation on SharePoint or Confluence.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead structured discovery workshops to capture and analyse functional and nonfunctional business requirements.
• Translate requirements across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Automotive Cloud, and Agentforce workstreams into detailed user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain a comprehensive requirements traceability matrix to ensure endtoend alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Identify requirement gaps, inconsistencies, or constraints, and resolve them in partnership with Solution Architects and Technical Leads

• Document AsIs business processes and design ToBe processes aligned with Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Identify opportunities for automation and recommend Salesforcenative solutions such as Flows, Approval Processes, and Macros.

Facilitate process improvement discussions to ensure Salesforce adoption delivers measurable operational value.

• Demonstrate strong functional understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Automotive Cloud objects, configuration capabilities, and standard features.
• Support configuration tasks including page layouts, validation rules, record types, assignment rules, and picklist updates.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to accurately convey functional intent behind customisation needs.

Maintain awareness of Agentforce and Salesforce AIpowered features to help align business expectations with platform capabilities

• Serve as the central liaison between business stakeholders and the delivery team throughout all phases of the project.
• Prepare and deliver sprint demos, status reports, requirement clarifications, and validation updates.

Maintain organised documentation across collaboration platforms such as SharePoint or Confluence.
