Job summary

Huron Consulting Group in India is seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to lead enterprise Salesforce architecture and integration design. This role requires 10+ years of Salesforce experience and a track record of delivering scalable, governance-aligned solutions.

You will mentor developers, drive design reviews, and coordinate across architecture governance, security, data models, and deployment strategies across multiple India-based delivery centers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Salesforce experience.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect / Technical Architect in enterprise Salesforce implementations.
• Experience in at least two full lifecycle Salesforce transformation programs.
• Strong exposure to architecture governance, stakeholder management, and technical leadership.
• Certification: Salesforce Application Architect.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end enterprise solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Convert requirements into scalable, maintainable technical designs.
• Drive architecture decisions for integration, security, data model and deployment.
• Create Solution Design Documents (SDD) and architecture diagrams.
• Provide technical oversight for configuration and development (LWC, Apex, Flows).
• Lead integrations with REST/SOAP APIs and Platform Events.
• Mentor developers, conduct design reviews, and resolve blockers.

We are looking for a highly skilled Salesforce Architect with deep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, integration design. The candidate should have 10+ years of overall Salesforce experience, with strong experience in architecting scalable Salesforce solutions across complex business environments.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

• Design end-to-end enterprise solutions on the Salesforce platform.

• Convert functional and business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and reusable technical designs.

• Drive architecture decisions covering application design, system integration, security, data model, and deployment strategy.

• Create Solution Design Documents (SDD), architecture diagrams, sequence flows, integration designs, and technical specifications.

• Ensure architecture aligns with Salesforce platform limits, best practices, and enterprise governance standards.

Salesforce Development Oversight

• Provide technical oversight for configuration and development across:

• LWC

• Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueables

• Flows / Process Automation

Integration & Data Architecture

• Design integrations between Salesforce and external applications using:

• REST APIs

• SOAP APIs

• Platform Events

• Change Data Capture

Delivery & Technical Leadership

• Lead discussions during requirements, design, sprint planning, development, SIT/UAT, deployment, and hypercare.

• Provide effort estimation and technical risk assessment for new initiatives.

• Mentor developers, conduct design reviews, and resolve technical blockers.

• Strong experience in Salesforce architecture and solution design

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model, sharing model, security model, and platform limits

Documentation & Tools

• Experience in preparing:

• Solution Design Document (SDD)

• Integration Specifications

• Architecture Diagrams

• Deployment Runbooks

Required Experience

• 10+ years of Salesforce experience

• Proven experience working as a Solution Architect / Technical Architect in enterprise Salesforce implementations

• Experience in at least two full lifecycle Salesforce transformation program

• Strong exposure to architecture governance, stakeholder management, and technical leadership.
