About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Support Specialist with a strong background in ElectricalEngineering and Excitation Systems to support sales, proposal, tendering, and techno-commercial activities for electrical engineeringprojects.

The role involves understanding customer requirements,reviewing RFQs, coordinating with vendors and internal engineering teams,preparing technical and commercial offers, performing costing, and supportingthe complete bid submission process.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze customer specifications, RFQs,tenders, and technical requirements for electricalequipment and systems.
• Understand customerrequirements and support the development of appropriate technical solutions.
• Prepare technical offers, commercialoffers, service offers, and spare-parts offers.
• Prepare and review techno-commercial proposals based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with factories,vendors, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to obtain technical andcommercial inputs.
• Review vendor/factory offers, technicaldocuments, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare cost sheets, FCM and othercommercial calculations required for proposal submission.
• Support risk review andensure all technical and commercial requirements are addressed before bidsubmission.
• Prepare and maintain bid and tender submissiondocumentation.
• Support commercial activitiesincluding PObooking, vendor creation, and customer creation as perdefined processes.
• Coordinate with customers andvendors for technical clarifications and commercial queries.
• Ensure timely submission ofproposals and deliverables as per project requirements.
• Maintain proper records ofproposals, costing, technical documents, reviews, and approvals.
• Participate in internal andexternal meetings with customers, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Provide regular weekly/monthly progress updates to the project team.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering andElectrical Systems.
• Hands-on experience in Excitation Systems is highly preferred.
• Experience in RFQ/tender analysis and proposalpreparation.
• Strong experience in technical offer andtechno-commercial proposal preparation.
• Experience in costing, estimation, andcommercial calculations.
• Experience in reviewing vendor offers, manufacturerdocuments, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of FCM preparation and Risk Review.
• Good understanding of sales support / proposal /tendering processes.
• Knowledge of PO booking, vendor creation, andcustomer creation processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, Word andPowerPoint.
• SAP knowledge is preferred.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates from the following domains will be preferred:

• Power Generation
• Electrical Engineering
• Power Systems
• Excitation Systems
• Electrical Equipment /Systems

Experience with organizations involved in power generation, electrical systems,excitation systems, industrial automation or power equipment will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

BE/B.Techin Electrical Engineering is mandatory.

5–10years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering,Proposal Engineering, Tendering, Estimation, Sales Support, Technical Sales, ora related domain.
