Job summary

SA Technologies Inc. in Bengaluru is seeking a Sourcing Specialist with 4–8 years of experience. You will manage supplier identification, RFQ activities, cost analysis and PPAP tracking, collaborating with Sourcing, Engineering, SCM and Project teams.

The role involves strategic sourcing, supplier onboarding, data management, and analytics, including Power BI and SAP/HICX usage, to drive cost-saving initiatives and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in Strategic Sourcing / Procurement / Supply Chain.
• Strong knowledge of RFQ, RFI, quotation analysis and supplier evaluation.
• Experience in supplier identification, onboarding and supplier management.
• Knowledge of PPAP and APQP processes.
• Understanding of cost reduction, should-cost analysis and supplier negotiations.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Experience with PowerBI is preferred.
• Exposure to SAP/HICX or procurement databases is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & RFQ: identify suppliers, conduct market research, manage RFI/RFQ activities, onboarding and data management.
• Project Management: maintain trackers, reviews, and track cost-reduction initiatives.
• Data & Documentation: maintain trackers, master files, and PST uploads.
• Analytics & Reporting: maintain dashboards, analyze price trends, forecast budgets and PST.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to manage supplier identification, RFQactivities, cost analysis, sourcing projects, supplier onboarding, PPAPtracking, and cost-reduction initiatives. The role will work closely withSourcing, Engineering, SCM, Suppliers, and Project teams.

KeyResponsibilities

1. Strategic Sourcing& RFQ

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on categoryand regional requirements.
  
• Conduct supplier market research and develop supplierintelligence.
  
• Manage RFI/RFQ activities, quotation analysis, and commercial evaluation.
  
• Support new supplier onboarding and supplier datamanagement using HICX/ Wabtec systems .
  
• Prepare business cases covering ROI, CAPEX, NRE, and cost impact .
  

2. Project Management

• Maintain project trackers with planned vs. actual milestones .
  
• Conduct regular project reviews and follow up ondeliverables.
  
• Track cost-reduction initiatives and Supplier Cost Reduction Ideas(SCRI) .
  
• Initiate and track PPAP requests and deliverables .
  

3. Data &Documentation

• Maintain commodity, PIR, SFA/master files, and projecttrackers.
  
• Maintain ProjectSavings Tracker (PST) and ensure timely updates/uploads.
  
• Ensure accurate sourcing and project-related dataacross systems.
  

4. Analytics &Reporting

• Maintain sourcing dashboards and commodity trendanalysis.
  
• Analyze price increases/decreases and their businessimpact.
  
• Track part-cost data and perform cost analytics.
  
• Analyze Deflation/ Power BI reports and identify key cost drivers.
  
• Prepare biweekly forecasts based on open POs and demandforecasts, including Budgetvs. PST vs. Gap analysis .
  
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through:
  
• Supplier negotiations
  
• SCRI
  
• Should-cost analysis
  
• Identify and execute sourcing projects to achievetargeted cost savings.
  

6. TacticalProcurement Activities

• Manage sourcing rules and price-feed uploads.
  
• Complete PST uploads and updates.
  
• Initiate PPAP and workflow approval requests.
  
• Coordinate SCM handover, SSS/PID and site approvals.
  
• Support POrelease for NRE/CAPEX and initial samples .
  

Required Skills

• Experience in StrategicSourcing / Procurement / Supply Chain .
  
• Strong knowledge of RFQ, RFI, quotation analysis and supplier evaluation .
  
• Experience in supplieridentification, onboarding and supplier management .
  
• Knowledge of PPAPand APQP processes .
  
• Understanding of costreduction, should-cost analysis and supplier negotiations .
  
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
  
• Experience with PowerBI is preferred.
