SA Technologies is seeking an experienced Sales Support Specialist with a strong Electrical Engineering background to support sales, tendering, and techno-commercial activities for electrical projects in Bengaluru.

The role covers reviewing RFQs, preparing technical and commercial offers, costing, and coordinating with vendors and internal engineering teams to ensure timely bid submissions and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• 5-10 years experience in Electrical Engineering, Proposal Engineering, Tendering, Estimation, Sales Support or related fields.
• Experience in Excitation Systems preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review and analyze customer specifications, RFQs, tenders, and technical requirements for electrical equipment and systems.
• Understand customer requirements and support the development of technical solutions.
• Prepare technical offers, commercial offers, service offers, and spare-parts offers.
• Prepare and review techno-commercial proposals based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with factories, vendors, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to obtain inputs.
• Review vendor/factory offers, technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare cost sheets, FCM and other commercial calculations for proposal submission.
• Support risk review and ensure all technical and commercial requirements are addressed before bid submission.
• Prepare and maintain bid and tender submission documentation.
• Support commercial activities including PO booking, vendor creation, and customer creation.
• Coordinate with customers and vendors for technical clarifications and commercial queries.
• Ensure timely submission of proposals and deliverables as per project requirements.
• Maintain proper records of proposals, costing, technical documents, reviews, and approvals.
• Participate in meetings with customers, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Provide regular weekly/monthly progress updates to the project team.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sales Support Specialist with a strong background in Electrical Engineering and Excitation Systems to support sales, proposal, tendering, and techno-commercial activities for electrical engineering projects. The role involves understanding customer requirements, reviewing RFQs, coordinating with vendors and internal engineering teams, preparing technical and commercial offers, performing costing, and supporting the complete bid submission process. Location: Bangalore. Employment Type: Contract / Project-Based. Experience: 5-10 Years. Education: BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electrical Systems.
• Hands-on experience in Excitation Systems is highly preferred.
• Experience in RFQ/tender analysis and proposal preparation.
• Strong experience in technical offer and techno-commercial proposal preparation.
• Experience in costing, estimation, and commercial calculations.
• Experience in reviewing vendor offers, manufacturer documents, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of FCM preparation and Risk Review.
• Good understanding of sales support / proposal / tendering processes.
• Knowledge of PO booking, vendor creation, and customer creation processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• SAP knowledge is preferred.

Educational Qualification

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.

Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Proposal Engineering, Tendering, Estimation, Sales Support, Technical Sales, or a related domain.
