Job summary

Mecsas Healthcare in Mumbai is looking for a Sales & Service Executive to support growth of our medical devices, diagnostics and healthcare technology portfolio. This is a field-based role requiring regular hospital visits, doctor engagement, lead generation and opportunity development.

The successful candidate will work with senior team members on product presentations, commercial discussions and closures, with the option to move from service engineering or applications into sales.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in medical devices, diagnostics, IVD, healthcare technology or related field.
• Biomedical / Electronics / Electrical / Life Sciences / Biotechnology or related educational background preferred.
• Experience as a Service Engineer, Application Specialist or Technical Executive with an interest in Sales will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable meeting doctors and hospital stakeholders.
• Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, diagnostic centres and laboratories to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Meet doctors, pathologists, radiologists, ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Generate, qualify and maintain a pipeline of leads.
• Understand customer requirements and identify appropriate product opportunities.
• Coordinate product demonstrations, evaluations and customer meetings.
• Regularly follow up on enquiries, quotations and ongoing opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with doctors and hospital stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, visits, opportunities and follow-ups.
• Support senior team members in developing and closing opportunities.
• Provide basic technical/application support where required.

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales & Service Executive to support the growth of our medical device, diagnostic and healthcare technology portfolio in Mumbai.

This is a field-based role involving regular hospital visits, doctor engagement, lead generation and opportunity development, basic troubleshooting and customer support.

The candidate will work closely with senior team members who will support product presentations, commercial discussions and final closures.

Candidates with service engineering, application support or technical experience in medical devices/diagnostics who are looking to move into sales are encouraged to apply.
