Job description

At BMC Helix, we are the AI‑native engine behind IT service and operations management, helping forward‑thinking organizations leverage AI for innovation and efficiency.

Role Overview

As our sales organization scales, Sales Operations play a key role in driving efficiency, consistency, and sustainable growth. The Sales Operations Analyst will support GTM Operations (GTM‑O CoE) through process excellence, standardization, and data‑driven insights, partnering closely with Business Operations Managers and cross‑functional sales teams.

Success in this role requires

Strong Sales Operations expertise, business acumen, strategic mindset, and the ability to support GTM initiatives, process improvements, and sales growth.

Your Contributions
  • Collaborate with the GTM‑O CoE Manager / Lead to identify and drive operational improvements and productivity gains for the BOMs.
  • Document and manage end‑to‑end business processes, establishing a structured process lifecycle — including creation, approval, distribution, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Support critical operational activities such as territory realignment, quota planning, adjustments, deviations, and sign‑offs.
  • Identify opportunities to standardise workflows and deliverables, and scale best practices consistently across regions.
  • Drive process consistency and governance across the GTM Sales Organisation.
  • Support automation initiatives for key processes, enabling sellers to maximise time spent with customers and partners.
  • Contribute to and, when needed, lead multiple cross‑functional initiatives simultaneously.
  • Build strong working relationships with BOMs and proactively identify operational areas where you can add value to the business.
  • Leverage advanced Excel and data analytics to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales function.
  • Perform monthly/quarterly revenue reconciliation between financial systems and CRM (Salesforce), identifying discrepancies and driving corrective actions.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or a related customer‑facing operational role.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and governing processes and SOP; ISO experience is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills—self‑driven, independent, and able to prioritise in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with an operational, results‑focused mindset.
  • Data‑driven thinker with strong problem‑solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced, rapidly evolving business environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong belief in the value of structured processes.
  • Flexible, self‑motivated, and team‑oriented—thrives in collaborative settings.
  • Highly adaptable and experienced in working within change management environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders across geographies and cultures.
  • Strong general technology awareness and ability to integrate into project teams as an active contributor.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) with the ability to work with complex/large data sets; programming experience is a plus.
  • Hands‑on experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Hands‑on experience working with AI tools and automation platforms (e.g., Copilot, analytics tools, or process automation solutions).
Compensation

Pay transparency: midpoint of the salary band for this role is 1,737,400 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organisational needs.
