Job summary

Hyatt Regency Portland Convention Center seeks a Sales Manager for Wedding and Celebrations to enhance event revenue and guest satisfaction. You will lead the wedding sales process, coordinate with operations, and apply Hyatt brand standards to exceed targets.

Ideal candidates have a hospitality or tourism qualification, at least two years in sales roles, and strong problem-solving and interpersonal abilities to deliver superior service and drive revenue.

Qualifications

• Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Sales Manager or Sales Executive.
• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• You will assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, while meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
• The Sales Manager - Wedding/Celebrations acts as a sales specialist to maximise related revenue in the most profitable way in line with agreed targets.
