Job summary

Hyatt Regency Portland Convention Center, Portland, Oregon, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function in alignment with Hyatt's standards and the hotel's goals.

The role focuses on ensuring smooth HR operations, supporting the Director of HR, and driving Hyatt's People Philosophy across the property to enhance guest and colleague satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ideally with a university degree or diploma in HRM/HRD or Hospitality/Tourism management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Human Resources Manager or Personnel Manager in larger operation.
• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
• The Human Resources Manager is responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Personnel Department in the Human Resources Division, assisting the Director of Human Resources with the implementation of Hyatt's People Philosophy throughout the hotel.
