Job summary

NexGen Medworks Medical Equipment LLC in India is seeking a Sales Manager – Surgical Devices to lead and expand our surgical device business across key Indian markets. The role requires strong exposure to government and private healthcare sectors, surgical product expertise, clinical support capability, and effective relationship management with hospitals, surgeons, and procurement teams.

You will drive revenue growth, manage distributors, support surgeries and demos, and mentor the sales team

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of medical device sales experience.
• Strong background in surgical business.
• Hands-on clinical support and OT/surgical assistance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Driving license is mandatory; able to work independently and manage key accounts.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly driven and clinically oriented Sales Manager to lead and expand our Surgical Device business across India.

The ideal candidate must have strong exposure to government and private healthcare sectors.

This role requires a combination of sales leadership, surgical product expertise, clinical support capability, and relationship management within the Medical Device segment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales growth for surgical devices across region.
• Manage and expand relationships with key government and private hospital accounts
• Provide clinical and technical support during surgeries, demos, evaluations, and physician trainings
• Work closely with surgeons, OR and procurement teams
• Identify new business opportunities and lead product conversions from competitors
• Coordinate product presentations, workshops, and clinical education activities
• Support tender business, vendor registration, and regulatory/commercial processes
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets aligned with company objectives
• Maintain strong market intelligence and competitor analysis
• Strong background in channel sales and distributor management, with the ability to build, manage, and grow distributor networks, drive revenue growth, ensure effective market penetration, and achieve business objectives across assigned territories.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in medical device sales

• Hands-on experience in clinical support and OT/surgical assistance
