Abacus Consultants is seeking a field-based loan sales role in Maharashtra, Pune district. The role focuses on selling loan against property and related products, meeting builders and developers to pitch offerings.

You will manage end-to-end loan processes including obtaining documents, presenting applications, and ensuring timely repayments while delivering strong portfolio quality.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers on builder/developer sites to pitch loan products.
• Conduct marketing, sales and brand-building activities to attract customers.
• Sanction and disburse files per month per targets.
• Handle pre- and post-loan activities: new client acquisition, renewals, financial analysis, risk assessment, presenting applications.
• Coordinate with legal, credit, and technical teams to collect documents.
• Explain loan requirements, terms, procedures, repayment importance, penalties, and insurance.
• Inform clients about the credit decision on their application.

Role & responsibilities

The role holder will be responsible for selling loan products loan against property and other related products.

Role

• Meet customers on builder/ developer site locations and pitch our loan product offerings to them
• Conduct marketing, sales & brand building activity to attract new customers.
• Sanction & disbursement of files per month as per the targets assigned
• Carry out the pre and post-loan activities related to the home loans, meaning: acquisition of new clients and maintenance of renewal clients, financial analysis, initial risk assessment, presenting the loan applications to the Sanctioning team, portfolio administration, prioritizing the repayment of loans to preserve the portfolio quality.
• Getting legal, credit and technical documents completed for the loan proposal and resolve customers queries.
• Inform potential clients about the requirements, T&C of the home loan product, the procedures to obtain a loan, the importance of the payments on time, the penalties system in case of not paying on time, insurance, etc.
• Inform the client about the Credit decision on their application.
