Job summary

HDFC ERGO General Insurance in India seeks a Sales Manager - Geo to lead the agency channel in the South region, focusing on Kurnool. You will identify and motivate potential candidates to enroll as agents and activate certified agents through mobilization of minimum premium within agreed timeframes.

You will ensure knowledge of products, policies, and sales processes among agents, set premium targets across business classes and geographies, and monitor performance while maintaining 100%

• Candidates should hold a graduate degree and be ready to work in a sales environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify and motivate potential candidates to enroll for becoming agents.
• Activate certified agents through mobilization of minimum premium in stipulated time.
• Ensure familiarization of the company’s products, policies and sales processes to the agents.
• Identify, communicate and agree on the premium targets with agents on various class of business & geographical segment.
• Ensure lower dormancy ratio of active vs total agents.
• Maximize mobilization through regular follow-ups & strengthening of relationships with agents.
• Ensure constant updating of agent’s knowledge on new products and underwriting policies.
• Troubleshooting with Underwriting, Branch operations, Claims, and Finance teams; Ensure compliance.
