Escon Elevators is seeking a Sales Manager to drive B2B/project sales in the elevator/construction sector. You will lead sales efforts, engage with architects, builders, contractors and consultants, and contribute to market research to shape pricing strategies.

The role requires 7+ years in project sales, with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and CRM/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in B2B / project sales (Elevator / Construction / Infrastructure industry preferred).
• Experience in handling consultants and institutional clients will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and local language.

Responsibilities

• Generate and convert sales leads; assign targets and motivate the team to achieve them.
• Build and maintain relationships with Architects, Builders, Contractors, Consultants and key decision-makers.
• Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies and pricing.
• Ensure timely collections per payment schedules and coordinate with CRM for handover.

Position: Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Related

• Responsible for sales lead generation and conversion.
• Assign targets to team members and motivate them to achieve the same.
• Ensure quotations and proposals are competitive while maintaining profit margins.

2. Client Interactions

• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with Architects, Builders, Contractors, Consultants, and key decision-makers.
• Meet existing clients for new enquiry generation and business development.
• Handle client queries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure timely follow-up on quotations and convert inquiries into orders.

3. Market Research

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to enhance sales strategies.
• Provide inputs to the central office for pricing strategy based on regional market trends.
• Conduct market surveys to identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities.

4. Collections Related

• Ensure timely collection of dues from customers as per the payment schedule until project handover to CRM.
• Follow up on outstanding collections, registrations, and related client servicing functions in coordination with the CRM department.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Basic understanding of elevator systems, projects, and contracts.
• Ability to read BOQs, layouts, and commercial proposals (basic level).
• Good communication skills in English and local language.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM/ERP systems.
