Aline Systems in India seeks a Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across the North-East market, manage dealer networks, and lead project sales from enquiry to order closure. You will develop territory strategies for Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and beyond, coordinate with architects, consultants and builders, and maintain a robust CRM to monitor pipeline and payments.

The role requires strategic planning, performance tracking, and the ability to build lasting relationships with channel partners

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans.
  • Achieve assigned sales and collection targets.
  • Prepare territory-wise and product-wise sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets weekly and monthly.
  • Identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve future targets.
  • Focus on revenue growth and gross margin/profitability.

Job description

A. Sales Target & Revenue Management
  • Develop and execute monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans.
  • Achieve assigned sales and collection targets.
  • Prepare territory-wise and product-wise sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline sufficient to achieve future targets.
  • Focus on both revenue growth and gross margin/profitability.
B. North-East Market Development

Develop the market across:

  • Assam
  • Meghalaya
  • Tripura
  • Nagaland
  • Manipur
  • Mizoram
  • Arunachal Pradesh

Identify high-potential cities, towns and project clusters and prepare territory-wise business development strategies.

Priority markets may include: Guwahati, Shillong, Silchar, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Tinsukia, Tezpur, Agartala, Dimapur, Imphal, Aizawl, Kohima, Itanagar,and other emerging markets.

C. Dealer / Distributor / Fabricator Network
  • Identify and appoint suitable dealers, distributors and system fabricators.
  • Develop a strong regional channel network.
  • Set territory-wise dealer targets.
  • Develop relationships with aluminium fabricators and installers.
  • Ensure regular dealer visits and business reviews.
  • Monitor dealer stock, enquiries, orders and payment status.
  • Develop new dealers in uncovered territories.
  • Prevent channel conflicts and maintain healthy dealer relationships.
  • Support channel partners with product knowledge, technical information and sales assistance.
D. Project Sales

Generate and convert business from:

  • Residential projects
  • Apartment projects
  • Villas
  • Commercial buildings
  • Hotels & resorts
  • Hospitals
  • Educational institutions
  • Government projects
  • Corporate offices
  • Retail & shopping spaces
  • Real-estate evelopments
  • Interior projects

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing project leads from the enquiry stage through order closure.

E. Architect & Consultant Relationship

Build strong relationships with:

  • Architects
  • Interior Designers
  • Structural Consultants
  • Project Management Consultants
  • Real Estate Developers
  • Contractors
  • Civil Contractors
  • MEP Consultants
  • Institutional decision makers

Conduct regular product presentations and technical discussions and ensure that the company's systems are specified in upcoming projects.

F. Builder & Developer Business
  • Identify upcoming residential and commercial projects.
  • Meet developers and project decision-makers.
  • Register the company as an approved vendor wherever possible.
  • Obtain project specifications and BOQs.
  • Track projects from design stage to execution.
  • Coordinate with estimation and technical teams for quotations.
  • Negotiate and close orders.
G. Product Sales

Drive sales across the company's product portfolio, particularly:

Product Category

  • VMS Sliding Systems

  • Invisible Grills
  • Stretch Ceiling

The manager should actively develop cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across product categories.

4. Lead Generation & Business Development

The Sales Manager will be responsible for building a continuous lead-generation engine through:

  • Direct corporate visits

Sales responsibility will include supporting timely collection of outstanding payments.

  • Monitor customer outstanding.
  • Coordinate with Accounts.
  • Follow up for advance payments.
  • Ensure agreed payment milestones are maintained.
  • Avoid excessive credit exposure.
  • Track project-wise receivables.
  • Escalate overdue accounts to management.
