Job summary

You will lead, coach, and motivate the team, ensure staffing, track KPIs, and push frontline performance to hit ambitious targets, leveraging data to refine territory strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales managing sales teams.
• Experience in Telecom, FMCG, Retail, or Fintech/Payments preferred.
• Strong distributor handling and coaching with a targets bias.

Role Summary

Lead a team to drive offline merchant acquisition, increase market share, and expand PhonePe's footprint (devices, instruments, and financial products) across assigned urban and rural territories.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Growth: Drive merchant acquisition, retention, and win-backs; conduct field audits, handle escalations, and maximize device asset utilization.
• People Leadership: Ensure 100% team staffing, provide on-the-job training, track daily KPIs, and drive frontline performance and retention.
• Data & Strategy: Analyze sales trackers to optimize territory performance and share local competitive intelligence with leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Field sales managing sales teams.
• Industry Focus: Experience in Telecom, FMCG, Retail, or Fintech/Payments highly preferred.
