Ankur Lighting is an Indiancompany specializing in high-quality lighting solutions, founded in 1979 byShree R.K. Shah. It has grown into a market leader with over 45 years ofexperience, focusing on LED lighting for indoor, outdoor, technical, architectural,and custom applications. We are looking a Sales Head at Ankur Lightingwill be responsible for driving profitable growth across projects, key accountsand channel partners, while leading the pan-India sales team and strengtheningthe company’s position in architectural and technical lighting.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual and quarterlysalesstrategyfor project, institutional, retail and channel business toachieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Build and manage a high‑performance salesorganization: hire, train, mentor and appraise regional and vertical salesteams with clear KPIs and incentive plans.
- Drive project and specification sales by buildingstrong relationships with architects, lighting designers, MEP consultants,PMCs, developers, government bodies and key corporate accounts.
- Grow showroom and retail sales through Ankur’scompany‑owned showrooms and key trade partners, ensuring superior customerexperience and conversion.
- Set regional and segment‑wise sales targets; trackperformance through CRM and MIS, and take timely corrective actions toclose gaps.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and productteams on launches, pricing, positioning, schemes and promotions to supportsales plans.
- Continuously map market potential, competitoractivity, pricing and new project pipelines to identify opportunities inIndia and select export markets.
- Ensure timely bid preparation, techno‑commercialoffers, tenders, and negotiations, balancing competitiveness with healthymargins.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers,resolve escalations quickly, and drive repeat and referral business.
- Forecast sales and budgets accurately; providemonthly/quarterly reports, funnel reviews and strategic inputs to topmanagement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies on credit,collections, documentation and statutory compliance.
Candidate profile
- Graduate in Engineering/Science or Commerce; MBA inMarketing/Sales preferred.
- 7–10 years of total experience in B2B/B2C lighting,electrical, building materials or related industries.
- Proven track record of achieving aggressive revenueand margin targets, scaling teams, and entering new markets.
- Deep understanding of lighting products (LEDarchitectural, commercial, outdoor, custom) and project sales cycles willbe anadvantage.
- Strong relationships with architects, consultants,developers, contractors, retailers and distributors in key metrospreferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiationand stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence at CXOlevel.
- Data‑driven and comfortable working with CRM, salesanalytics and MS Office tools.
