Job summary

Vidyalam Laminates is seeking an energetic Sales Executive to join the Delhi/NCR team. You will develop business opportunities, build strong relationships with contractors, dealers, and distributors, and drive sales of premium laminate products. The role involves regular field visits, lead generation, and close collaboration with internal teams to meet targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers and contractors.
• Identify potential customers and conduct regular market visits across Delhi/NCR.
• Present and explain the laminate products, designs, specifications, and applications to distributors, contractors and dealers.
• Generate leads through references, market visits, networking, and other sales channels.
• Follow up with prospective clients and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
• Develop the dealer and distributor network and strengthen existing business relationships.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding quotations, orders, dispatches, and customer requirements.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and customer preferences.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, client meetings, sales enquiries, orders, and follow-ups.
• Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates to management.
• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain long-term client relationships.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales / Business Development.
• Experience in laminates, plywood, furniture, interior products, building materials, or related industries will be preferred.
• Graduate in any discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good negotiation and convincing abilities.
• Strong client relationship and networking skills.
• Good knowledge of the Delhi/NCR market will be an advantage.
• Comfortable with field sales and regular client visits.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented.
