The Sales Coordinator at Aark Automation plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by ensuring smooth coordination between customers, internal teams, and order processing functions. The role focuses on lead generation, sales follow-ups, order management, and post‑sales support to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth in automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate potential leads through online research, databases, and marketing inputs
- Maintain and update lead data in CRM or internal systems
- Qualify leads and assign them to respective sales engineers
- Act as a bridge between customers and the sales team
- Track daily sales activities and follow up on pending tasks
- Coordinate meetings, proposals, and technical discussions
- Ensure timely follow‑up on inquiries, quotations, and proposals
- Maintain strong communication with customers to nurture relationships
- Support sales engineers in closing deals through consistent coordination
- Prepare and process sales orders accurately
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams
- Track order status and ensure timely delivery to customers
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare quotations, reports, and sales documentation
- Maintain proper records of orders, invoices, and customer communications
- Generate periodic sales and performance reports
- Follow up with customers after delivery for feedback and satisfaction
- Coordinate for issue resolution, returns, or service requirements
- Support repeat business and customer retention strategies
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM/ERP systems (preferably Odoo or similar)
- Basic understanding of industrial automation products (PLC, sensors, networking, instrumentation) is an advantage
