Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to manage overseas dispatches and coordinate with production, logistics and freight partners. The role emphasizes timely communication, demand validation, and ensuring critical parts are planned and produced to meet customer requirements.

You will leverage SAP ERP, Hana, and Supply On to optimize planning, budgeting for logistics costs, and warehouse coordination while maintaining budgets and on-time delivery targets.

Qualifications

• DME and Engineering Degree with 10–15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP ERP, Hana and Supply On.
• Strong coordination between production, logistics and overseas customers.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with overseas internal & external customers regarding supplies.
• Collect monthly schedules from customers and validate future requirements.
• Prepare list of critical parts for weekly DCC planning and coordinate with production.
• Follow-up with production planners to ensure parts are produced as per customer requirements.
• Coordinate with production team to expedite parts production when required.
• Ensure timely dispatches to overseas customers and follow up with freight forwarders for on-time delivery.
• Share dispatch details with customers on dispatch day or next day.
• Coordinate with Transporters for vehicle placement as needed.
• Coordinate with Warehouse to ensure timeliness of dispatches.
• Account for premium freight costs within budget targets.

Job description

• Responsible to have close communication with overseas internal & external customers regarding supplies.
• Get the schedules from the customers on monthly basis and validate the future customer requirements.
• Preparing list of critical parts for better planning in weekly DCC meeting.
• To follow-up with production planners ensuring the parts are produced as per customer’s requirement.
• To follow-up with production team for the getting the parts produced on priority.
• Responsible for timely dispatches to overseas customer and follow up with freight forwarder for on-time delivery.
• Sharing the dispatch details to the customers on the same or subsequent day of dispatch.
• To follow-up with Transporters for placement of vehicle on daily basis whenever is required.
• To follow-up with Warehouse team to ensure that parts are dispatched on timely basis.
• Accountable for ensuring premium freight expenses remain within budget targets
