Position Summary
This role focuses on driving sales of specialized industrial products, including solutions for pharmaceutical, nuclear, and industrial applications. The position involves a balanced mix of new business development and managing existing client relationships. The Account Manager acts as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and managing the end-to-end sales process. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills to drive revenue and maintain high client engagement standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while managing key accounts
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable product solutions
- Conduct client meetings and participate in industry events and conferences
- Coordinate order processing, delivery, and payment collection
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and insights
- Stay updated on product developments, industry trends, and competitor activities
- Resolve client issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet business objectives
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in account management or technical sales, preferably in an MNC environment
- Strong understanding of customer service and consultative selling approach
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with strong time management abilities
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and manage distributors
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical or industrial sectors is preferred
- Willingness to travel extensively (50%+)
Qualifications & Experience
- 4-12+ years of experience in a similar technical sales role
- Experience with CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Sage) is an advantage
- Fluency in English required; additional languages (e.g., French) are a plus
- Valid driving license required
