Job summary

Astral Pipes is seeking a field sales professional to drive distributor-based sales across the territory. You will plan monthly targets, conduct regular distributor visits, and ensure products reach end customers while maintaining strong relationships.

You will adhere to the DRCP framework, track visits in the system, and coordinate with teams to provide timely materials, promotions, and support for contractors and retailers. Experience in channel sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Derive sales from distributors as per assigned DRCP.
• Prepare monthly plans to achieve territory targets.
• Assist distributors to reach their targets through visits and communications.
• Adhere to DRCP as planned by TSM.
• Mark daily attendance in DRCP to validate visits.
• Convert visits into productive calls with retailers and distributors.
• Fulfll outlets and distributors daily to hit KIs.
• Assist distributors with contractor and end-user queries or complaints.
• Provide Vishwas App information and ensure orders via Vishwas App.
• Ensure availability of materials, services and promos through coordination.
• Evaluate branding potential and install display boards for visibility.
• Connect with users at distributors’ locations to share product benefits and usage info.
• Add new outlets per targets to improve productivity and distributor count.
• Revive unproductive outlets by regular visiting.
• Collect payments from distributors as per benchmarks.
• Monitor outstanding payments and minimize dues.
• Follow up on billing and order fulfillment in the system.
• Investigate and resolve distributor and customer complaints within defined timelines or escalate.

Job description

• 1. Deriving Sales from distributor as per assigned DRCP.
• 2. Prepare plan to achieve the assigned business objectives for the territory on a monthly level and work towards achievement of targets.
• 3. Assist distributors in achieving their overall sales target through regular visits, scheme communication and timely material service.
• 4. Ensure to adhere DRCP strictly as planned by TSM.
• 5. Mark attendance in system through DRCP on daily basis to validate the number of visits of Retailers, Distributors, Applicators of the assigned areas and territories.
• 6. Ensure to convert visit into productive calls.
• 7. Ensure to fulfill assigned outlets and distributors on daily basis to complete desired KIs.
• 8. Assist distributors in providing solution to his contractors as well as end consumers for any complaints or queries
• 9. Provide information of Vishwas App and ensure all distributors book order through Vishwas App only.
• 10. Ensure availability of material, services and promotional tools to the distributors through co-ordination with other stakeholders
• 11. Evaluate the branding potential at identified counters and subsequently providing of display board and panels to maximize visibility
• 12. Ensure to connect users directly at distributors places in order to communicate and understand their concern and give them right information about product benefits and content usages.
• 13. Ensure to add new outlets as per framed targets to enhance productivity of the assigned areas and number of Distributors.
• 14. Ensure to revive unproductive outlets since last 6 months and fetch business from by visiting regularly.
• 15. Ensure payment collections from distributors as per the set benchmarks
• 16. Monitor the outstanding payments on regular basis and take measure to minimize the over dues.
• 17. Follow-up on billing and fulfillment of orders in the system.
• 18. Understand Distributor complaints Investigate and resolve distributors level and customer level complaints within the defined timelines or elevate the same to higher authority if required.
