Job summary

Aarti Industries in India seeks a Process Safety Management (PSM) specialist to coordinate safety efforts across zonal operations. You will collaborate with Zonal operations, Safety and functional teams for a comprehensive review of PSM elements in monthly Zonal sustainability review meetings and rollout across plants.

You will drive incident RCA, CAPA, HAZOP, and risk-based improvements, develop guidelines, and ensure 360-degree implementation of learnings from corporate directives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Zonal operations, Safety and functional teams for a comprehensive review of PSM elements in monthly Zonal sustainability review meetings
• Maintain robust MIS and seamless coordination with zonal teams for PSM elements rollout
• Play a key role to give assurance for Implementation of all PSM learnings across all the plants
• Analysis for high priority recommendations from risk studies of all the materials (RM/IM/FP's) and RC-1e for reactions are conducted, Validation for effective implementation of recommendations
• Analysis for deviation monitoring of process & Validation for effective implementation of recommendations
• Risk management approach on high risk installations to ensure functionality of barriers
• Interface between Corporate, Plant managers /Divisional heads & Zone SHE heads to drive elements of PSM as per the rolled out guidelines/standards by corporate
• Implementation of program and initiative for development and sustenance of PSM culture in respective zones
• Participate in critical hazop studies, ensure participation of full quorum from all functions and drive time bound implementation of high priority hazop recommendations
• Participate in Process Safety incidents RCA and ensure 360 degree implementation of CAPA
• Develope new guideline & standard for process safety
• Responsible for PIC - HAZOP, 100% Compliance all across the zone.
• Responsible for HAZOP Planning, Recommendation tracking,
• Support plants to develop time bound action plan for implementation of PSM elements, monitoring & review mechanism through their plant safety meetings
• Interface between Corporate, Plant managers /Divisional heads & Zone SHE heads to drive elements of PSM as per the rolled out guidelines/standards by corporate.
• Implementation of program and initiative for development and sustenance of PSM culture in respective zones
• Identify PSM and other specialized trainings needs for all levels of employees and develop internal resource for PSM Audits, HAZOP and RCA
• Implementation of harmonized system of recommendation tracking and driving 360 degree implementation of applicable learnings from corporate driven LFI meetings
