Job summary

NXP Semiconductors NV in India seeks a senior professional to lead automotive functional safety management. You will define and execute the safety lifecycle per ISO26262, coordinate with VnV teams, and interface with assessors to ensure reviews and approvals for ASIL-D programs.

A strong background in electronics/embedded development and safety auditing is required. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in automotive functional safety, familiarity with Jira and MS Project, and experience managing

• Master's or Bachelor's in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in automotive functional safety and ISO26262 deployment.
• Experience delivering safety lifecycle for projects up to ASIL-D.

Job description

Your Responsibilities

• Definition and execution of the product safety lifecycle as per ISO26262 and NXP internal process
• Continuous follow-up and reporting of functional safety activities
• Preparation of safety work products: safety plan, safety case, tool evaluation, ...etc
• Interfacing with all project stakeholders (project manager, VnV team, ...etc)
• Interfacing with functional safety assessor for assessment and confirmation reviews execution

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in Automotive Functional Safety management and ISO26262 deployment
• Conducted complete safety lifecycle for projects up to ASIL-D
• Good understanding of Hardware and Software architecture and development process
• Familiar with project management tool: Jira, microsoft project, ...etc
• Experience with Safety Assessments/Audits.
• Preferred:
• Knowledge in Automotive MCU architectures.
• Experience in semiconductor product development mainly as SEooC.
• Experience in supplier management and communication with customers.
• Familiar with other standard (IEC61508, ...etc)
