Job summary

Tvarur Oils & Fats in Tamil Nadu seeks a Safety Officer to implement and monitor safety-related processes across food safety, fire safety and health safety domains.

You will ensure proper PPE usage, maintain safety equipment, investigate incidents, prepare safety reports, compile statistics and conduct safety trainings for all employees to drive a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Implement & Monitor Safety Related Process - Food Safety / Fire Safety / Health Safety etc
• To Meet Safety Department Objectives
• Ensures that all employees use proper PPE at all times and get valid permissions to carry hazardous works
• Ensure all safety equipment are well maintained & wear and tear of them and ensure that equipment is installed correctly/safely
• investigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health in the shifts and report to Safety Manager
• Writing safety reports
• Compiling statistical data
• Making safety presentation
• Participate in safety training & activities and guide direct/indirect employees
