Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a safety-focused professional to oversee industrial safety and compliance at our Gujarat facility. You will conduct inductions, supervise daily activities with emphasis on PPE, LOTO, and SOP/PTW adherence, and lead toolbox talks on shift.

You will maintain safety records, report incidents, and support ERP and 5S initiatives. The role involves KPI reporting, vendor follow-ups for MHE maintenance, and conducting audits with corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial safety practices and standards.
• Preference for experience in the logistics sector.
• Familiarity with HIRA, JSA and ERP processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver induction training and task-specific trainings.
• Supervise day-to-day activities with emphasis on PPE compliance, LOTO, SAFE BEHAVIOURS, and adherence to SOPs and PTW.
• Lead toolbox talks on shift basis and maintain MHE pre-inspection checklists.
• Maintain safety training records and prepare monthly KPIs.
• Coordinate MHE maintenance and vendor follow-ups; report hazards and near-misses.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; support ERP planning.
• Promote 5S housekeeping and assist in safety audits and corrective actions.

Job description

• Induction training (including job specific trainings)- Task specific modules will be provided by factory team.
• Direct Supervision of day-to-day activities with specific focus on PPE Compliance, LOTO adherence, SAFE BEHAVIOURS, adherence to work SOPs, PTW compliance and other Nestle systems.
• Toolbox talks on shift basis, Based on the task at hand.
• To be maintained MHE Pre Inspection checklist
• Maintain the safety training records.
• Knowledge of Preparing Hira & JSA
• Monthly safety KPI preparation & Reporting
• MHE maintenance & vendor follow up.
• Hazards/Near Miss & BBS/BFS reporting.
• Incident investigation & report preparation.
• Two Shift Operation will be there. Weekly Off will be in once in week. (G 8to 4 PM, B 2to10PM)
• Prepare team for Emergency Response Plans (ERP) in line with the requirement of Client
• Look after area Housekeeping & build awareness over 5S activities.
• Developing HSE audit check lists and undertake audit for corrective & preventive actions.
