Job summary

Kingscraft Aviation is seeking an experienced Safety Manager - CAMO to oversee and strengthen the CAMO SMS for our NSOP operations. The role focuses on maintaining safe flight operations, regulatory compliance and proactive risk management.

The candidate will report to the Accountable Manager and support DGCA audits, inspections and safety-related requirements while driving continuous improvement of safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Aviation/technical experience relevant to CAMO.
  • SMS training or certification related to safety management.
  • Strong understanding of DGCA/ICAO safety requirements.
  • Proactive risk management and safety culture awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and strengthen the CAMO Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Identify hazards and conduct safety risk assessments.
  • Monitor Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) and safety objectives.
  • Manage safety reporting, investigations and outcomes.
  • Monitor corrective and preventive actions for safety.
  • Conduct safety assessments for Management of Change (MOC).
  • Promote safety awareness and a positive reporting culture.
  • Provide safety advice to the Accountable Manager.
  • Support DGCA audits, inspections and safety-related requirements.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Safety Manager -CAMO to oversee and strengthen the Safety Management System (SMS) for our Non-Scheduled Operator (NSOP) operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring safe flight operations, regulatory compliance, proactive risk management, and continuous improvement of the organisation's safety standards

Reports to: Accountable Manager
Purpose:

To manage and maintain the CAMO Safety Management System (SMS), ensuring effective identification, assessment and control of continuing-airworthiness safety risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain the CAMO SMS.
  • Identify hazards and conduct safety risk assessments.
  • Monitor Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) and safety objectives.
  • Manage safety/occurrence reporting and investigations.
  • Monitor safety corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct safety assessments for Management of Change (MOC).
  • Promote safety awareness and a positive reporting culture.
  • Provide safety advice to the Accountable Manager.
  • Support DGCA audits, inspections and safety-related requirements.
Competency:

Relevant aviation/technical experience, CAMO knowledge, SMS training, and understanding of applicable DGCA/ICAO safety requirements.
