Job summary

Asia Pacific Flight Training Academy is seeking a CAM (Maintenance) to oversee regulatory compliance and airworthiness activities. The role requires ensuring adherence to CAR M and DGCA requirements while aligning with the organization’s policies and procedures.

The candidate should possess 5 years of relevant experience, with 2+ years in aeronautical roles, and hold an AME course or BE Aeronautical/Mechanical. Prior CAM approval or Diamond aircraft exposure are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must have completed basic AME course or BE Aeronautical/Mechanical with 5 years relevant work experience, including at least 2 years in aeronautical industry.
• Experience covering aircraft maintenance and/or Continuing Airworthiness Management or related surveillance tasks.
• Solid knowledge of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.

Responsibilities

• CAM will report to the Accountable Manager/CEO for assigned duties.
• CAM will ensure organization complies with CAR M requirements.
• CAM will ensure compliance with approved CAME/DGCA requirements and organizational policies.

Job description

Eligibility:
1. Applicant must have done basic AME course or Bachelor of Engineering- Aeronautical/Mechanical, with 5 (five) years relevant work experience of which at least two years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position.
2. These 5 years should cover an appropriate combination of experience in tasks related to aircraft Maintenance and/or Continuing Airworthiness Management (engineering) and/or surveillance of such tasks.
3. Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant parts of operational requirements and procedures.
5. Thorough knowledge with the organisations continuing airworthiness management exposition.
6. Knowledge of maintenance methods.
7. Knowledge of applicable regulations
8. Knowledge of Maintenance program

Added benefit if candidate has:
1. Prior CAM approval (Form 4)
