Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all HSE activities across project sites.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, client requirements, and safety standards.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Manage contractor safety performance and adherence to safety requirements.
  • Drive safety awareness initiatives, toolbox talks, training programs, and campaigns.
  • Review method statements, risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and emergency plans.
  • Monitor activities such as work at height, lifting operations, excavation, confined spaces, and electrical works.
  • Prepare and present HSE reports, KPIs, and safety metrics to senior management and clients.
  • Lead emergency preparedness programs, mock drills, and crisis management.
  • Foster a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement in workplace safety.

Job description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) activities across project sites.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, client requirements, and organizational safety standards.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage contractor safety performance and ensure adherence to safety requirements.
  • Drive safety awareness initiatives, toolbox talks, training programs, and behavioral safety campaigns.
  • Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and emergency response plans.
  • Monitor critical activities such as work at height, lifting operations, excavation, confined space entry, and electrical works.
  • Prepare and present HSE reports, KPIs, and safety performance metrics to senior management and clients.
  • Lead emergency preparedness programs, mock drills, and crisis management activities.
  • Foster a proactive safety culture and promote continuous improvement in workplace safety practices.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of HSE experience in large-scale Residential, Commercial, Mixed-Use, High-Rise, or Township projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, OSHA standards, risk management, and construction safety practices.
  • Proven experience leading site safety teams and managing multiple contractors.
  • Expertise in incident investigation, safety audits, HSE compliance, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, reporting, and team management skills.
  • Ability to engage with clients, consultants, project leadership, and regulatory authorities.
